[Update] ChungRui Hantai shines at 2025 CIFTIS: spotlighting Hainan Free-Trade Port’s post-seal-off opportunities and helping corporates seize first-mover tax advantages.
The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) Global Trade Summit ran in Beijing from 10–14 September under the theme “Digital Intelligence Steering Trade in Services Renewal.” Attracting nearly 2 000 on-site exhibitors from over 80 countries and international organisations, it is the world’s largest and most influential cross-border services expo.
As a stand-out in tax services, ChungRui Hantai Certified Tax Agents was invited to exhibit alongside China’s top-tier firms, showcasing its technical strength and open-for-business mindset. Representing the firm were Ms Zhang Xia, General Manager of ChungRui Hantai (Hainan) Co., Ltd., and Mr Yao Yansheng, Financial Services Director of the Shanghai office.

During the fair Ms Zhang joined Ms Zhu Xiaolan, Chair of the WTCA Asia-Pacific Trade Services Advisory Board; Mr Liu Jian, Assistant to the Director of Hainan International Economic Development Bureau; and Ms Sun Shuangshuang, Deputy GM of the Cross-Business Group at Hainan Eco-Software Park, for a high-profile forum on “International Investment & Trade: Opportunities after Hainan Free-Trade Port Closes Its Customs Line.” Drawing on hands-on experience, Zhang outlined how tariff adjustments and cross-border tax planning will evolve once the island’s full customs closure takes effect, backing her points with live case studies. In one-on-one match-making sessions the ChungRui Hantai team decoded new policies and offered bespoke tax advice, enabling companies to lock in advantages ahead of the curve.

The firm’s presence at CIFTIS is more than a response to China’s opening-up call—it is a concrete step to advance high-quality trade in services. By translating Hainan’s latest tax incentives into actionable road-maps, ChungRui Hantai is helping domestic and foreign investors harvest the free-trade port’s dividends while demonstrating the global calibre of China’s tax-advisory sector and building a bridge between tax expertise and international trade & investment.
