At 09:00 on 3 September 2025, the national ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered a keynote address and reviewed the troops.

He Yuanquan—Chairman of ChungRui Tax Group, Supervisor-General of the Beijing Certified Tax Agents Association and Vice-President of the Shenzhen Certified Tax Agents Association—was honoured to join the ceremony alongside model citizens, overseas Chinese patriots and other distinguished guests, witnessing first-hand this powerful moment that crystallises the national spirit and highlights China’s path to rejuvenation.

The parade was the first since China embarked on a new journey toward fully realising Chinese-style modernisation, the first since the People’s Liberation Army began its second century of development, and the first to showcase the PLA’s restructured force layout—making it a milestone of historic significance.

After the ceremony Chairman He was visibly moved:  

“Standing in that electrifying square, listening to General Secretary Xi’s speech and watching the magnificent parade, I felt the grand sweep of national rejuvenation and shared in our country’s glory. When the armoured columns thundered past and fighter jets streaked across the sky, pride in China’s achievements and reverence for the revolutionaries who made it possible surged inside me.  

Remembering history strengthens our resolve. This was more than an honour—it was a spiritual baptism. It has reinforced my commitment to keep our feet on the ground and forge ahead. Going forward, I will channel this inspiration into concrete actions, focus on innovation and social needs, and align the growth of our firm and our profession with the nation’s development, contributing solid, steady strength to our motherland’s bright future.”
