The World Bank's "Business Environment Report in 2020" is part of an annual survey. The survey investigates regulations that promote and restrict business activities, provide quantitative indicators on commercial regulations and property rights protection.
The World Bank's "Business Environment Report in 2020" states that due to the vigorous promotion of the reform agenda, China has ranked among the Top 10 economies with the most improved business environments in the world for the two consecutive years. China has implemented 8 business environment reforms in the 12-month period ending May 1 this year, ranking 31st in terms of ease of Global Business Environment, and get a score of 77.9 out of 100. Martin Raiser, Director of the World Bank's China Bureau, said: "China has made great efforts to improve the domestic business environment for Small and Medium Environments (“SMEs”), maintained a positive pace of reform, and made commendable progress on a number of business environment indicators, particularly in the area of construction permits. "
The "Business Environment Report in 2020" Thanks List shows that, 15,000 partners including legal experts, business consultants, accountants, freight forwarders, government officials and other professionals have participated in the survey across 190 countries and regions.
