On June 5, 2026, the China Certified Tax Agents Association and the Moroccan Tax Experts Association held a special exchange symposium to discuss the tax systems, investment environments, and tax audits of both countries, and signed a memorandum of friendly cooperation to establish a normalized professional exchange and cooperation mechanism. Director Dandan Guo of Chungrui Tax Group attended the symposium.

Jiangping Zheng, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Certified Tax Agents Association, noted that Chinese domestic tax firms are actively "going global" — both a necessity of the times and a demand of the market. Over 100 tax firms and nearly 1,000 international tax professionals nationwide are currently focused on cross-border tax services, providing Chinese enterprises "going global" with full-chain services including mergers and restructurings, transfer pricing, and tax treaty application, with coverage extending to Belt and Road countries and regions including Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Russia.

According to the "China Tax Advisor Industry Development Research Report (2024)," nine tax firms established international alliances or overseas branches in 2024, setting up 152 branches, while 24 firms joined international professional service alliances. Hongxing Liang, founder of Beijing Tax Sea Star Tax Consulting, suggested that small and medium-sized firms with complementary strengths could collaborate to "go global" together, sharing advantages and risks while building brand influence.

With China's outward direct investment reaching 12,455.8 billion yuan in 2025, growing 7.4% year-on-year, the demand for overseas tax professional services continues to rise. Participants emphasized that tax firms should follow their clients' global expansion pace, developing their own international service capabilities through thorough market research and accumulated frontline experience. The recently issued "State Council Regulations on Overseas Investment" explicitly supports professional service firms in expanding overseas service networks.
